Vanessa Rosa-Kubik is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on complex-commercial litigation. She represents businesses and individuals across the country in all stages of the litigation process, from pre-suit evaluation through trial and post-judgment enforcement. Her practice includes disputes involving trade-secret misappropriation, breach of contract, fraud, and other business-related disputes.
Vanessa also represents individuals on select family law matters. As a long-time Dallas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), child welfare is an area in which she is particularly passionate. Vanessa also represents individuals in the areas of divorce, child custody disputes, possession and access, and child support.
Vanessa also represents businesses and insurance companies in litigation matters involving DTPA and consumer-related claims, first-party property claims, insurance coverage disputes, bad-faith insurer claims, and other insurance-related disputes.
Vanessa’s practice also focuses on a wide range of real estate work including, but not limited to, acquisitions, development, leasing, and financing.
Vanessa graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude and Order of the Coif, and was an Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review. During law school, she also served indigent clients in litigation matters as a member of the Texas Tech Civil Practice Clinic. She received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, where she walked on to the Notre Dame varsity fencing team her sophomore year. Vanessa was a natural talent and quickly became a vital member of the top-ranked fencing team, receiving the Yves Auriol Award for “Most Improved,” the DeCioccio Award for team leadership, and a Monogram and letter jacket her junior and senior year.
Vanessa has a passion for serving her community. She is a life-member and Gold Award recipient of the Girl Scouts of America and a Dallas CASA advocate for children in foster care. She also volunteers with the Dallas County Dispute Resolution Center, the Tarrant County Dispute Resolution Program, and Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program to provide free or low-cost mediations to her community.
